This position involves the creation of a website that
utilizes the UX design principles that focus on creating
intuitive, accessible, and user-centric digital
experiences by reducing cognitive load and providing
clear, consistent, and efficient interactions. The
priority of this project is to have a final product that
incorporates user-centricity, hierarchical organization of
information, high usability, consistent design patterns,
accessibility for all abilities, clear user control, and
context-aware design, cdensuring the product is functional
and satisfying.
Responsibilities
- Website creation and maintenance; build, design, and
maintain websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Provide status reports on projects as required;
- Maintain a high level of technical and operational
knowledge through direct engagement with colleagues and
for personal development;
- Maintain detailed records and documentation;
- Understand, comply with and promote all company safety
precautions and policies including reporting hazards and
incidents encountered in daily operations;
- Attend and complete training courses and/or company
examinations, as required;
- Maintain project schedules and design goals; and
- Perform and complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Front-End Development
- Proficiency in UX/UI, HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- Familiarity with at least one major front-end
framework is a plus (React, Vue.js);
Back-End Development
- Experience with at least one server-side language (Go,
Node.js, Python, PHP);
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization
mechanisms (OAuth, OIDC, JWT, sessions);
Development Tools & Practices
- Version control with Git and platforms like
GitHub/GitLab;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
- Familiarity with container orchestration is a plus
(Docker, Kubernetes);
- Preference will be given to those who provide a Github
profile link;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
and,
- Ability to produce thorough and effective technical
documentation.
